18 years ago today, the world lost an amazing musician, and a great person. April fifth, 1994, Kurt Donald Cobain, frontman for Seattle grunge band Nirvana was found in the greenhouse of his Washington home, dead by shotgun blast to the head. To this day, there are debates on whether it was suicide or foul play, but I think that on this day, we should leave all arguments on the matter behind and agree on one thing; he’s gone. So I recommend finding some of the old Nirvana CDs, be it Nevermind or In Utero, and turn it up. Rest in peace Kurt, your forever in our hearts.

SO i decided to put my new strings on today, and I already explained my broken string issue. Well, it got worse. After getting the D and G put on, I cranked the G string for about a half hour before realizing it wasn’t doing anything. It just kept slipping. So I quit for a while to calm down. I returned recently to finally get the G on, and it worked! So I’m sitting here tuning my bass, ALMOST got it in tune, when BAM! My bridge falls off. Fuck it, I’m done trying for tonight.
